So its’ 2010… where are the flying cars???
January 13, 2010Yes, 2010 is here. There are no flying cars, at least not where I live, and I am not disappointed. I have fully accepted that for at least today- there are no flying cars- and that’s ok.
This is the mindset I would like to cultivate in this new year. I will live more in the moment, instead of waiting for the next one… I believe this will remove that ever present anxiety of “whats going to happen next?” . Someone close to me said, quoting someone else- “luck favors the prepared” I will be more prepared this year. I will focus on my future goals and aspirations by making each day productive and meaningful. Daily goals will ultimately fulfill long-term goals.
These last few months have been busy and crazy for me. I’ve started to focus more on Boudoir photos, and am learning Photoshop CS2. I also enrolled in Graduate School to pursue a dual degree in Project Managment and Distance Learning. So take a look at what I’ve been up to, and stay posted to see whats next!
I am excited to move into the future, walking leasiruly, enjoying each rose and thorn, with my camera at my side.
All the best,
Michele

Portraits are funny things. We all know exactly what we look like, but when we see an image of ourselves; it usually does not acurately reflect how we see ourselves. But it does. We humans are complex, not just one thing makes up who we are. It’s all those things swirling behind our faces that makes getting an image that looks like you feel you look, so hard. However, it can be done, you can get images that truely reflect your inner beauty, and spirit. The right photographer can bring that out. A good portait evokes a feeling in the viewer. I believe these potraits do that.
