About Michele

A lifelong resident of Baltimore, I fell in love with photography after a transcontinental train ride in 1997. I had a point and shoot camera, and was enchanted by the beautiful and ever changing landscapes. After graduating from the University of Maryland, I worked with several local and international publications including Baltimore City Paper, Urbanite, Baltimore Quick Guide, Destination Planning Guide, Where Magazine, and Where Guestbook.

Always a passionate novice photographer, I met LaKaye over 3 years ago, while working together at Urbanite magazine. Over the years, as our friendship and mutual passion for professional independence grew, she invited me to partner with her in Soulstice City, and together; with my background in advertising and marketing and her technical and creative skill, take it to the next level and do what we both love.

I am so excited to have this opportunity to create and capture memories for our clients. Life has proven not to be about possessions but experiences, and memories. That’s why I love photography… it’s the one thing that captures the feeling of the moments… the image we create is a tangible memory, to be revisited and shared.
