Where is your studio?
We shoot most of our boudoir sessions at The Living Well located at 2122 St. Paul Street in Baltimore, MD. It’s a lovely space that usually hosts yoga, dance and other holistic classes. In order to keep your session private, we book our shoots around their schedule. We are also willing to travel to your home or other location of your choice. In fact, we encourage you to make an event of it and rent a room in your favorite hotel (we love the Aloft!).
How should I prepare for a boudoir shoot?
May we suggest that you make your whole day sexy? Begin the day with wearing your favorite outfit and your signature fragrance. Make sure your hair is done by your favorite stylist and apply your make-up flawlessly. We work with wonderful make-up artists, so if you need one let us know. Bring three of your most sensuous outfits and for extra fun, bring a few props….Not those kinds of props, ladies. We mean feather boas, fur coats, costume jewelry, your man’s shirt, etc.
We will be in touch with you prior to the shoot so we can discuss the look you’re going for. We are an all female staff, so remember anything goes!
Will my images appear on your website?
Our goal is to blog about every event and boudoir session within a week of the event. (we’re the first to admit that we don’t always meet that goal!) Not every session will be posted, however before every session we have our boudoir clients sign a release form. On it, you may indicate whether or not we may blog about or display your images on our website and on fliers. Because we maintain the rights to the images, we may occasionally use photos in our portfolio books. There will be a fee to have us give up our copyright if you do not wish to have your images displayed anywhere, ever, in any way, shape, form or fashion. Our event clients also have the option to purchase the copyrights.
That being said, trust us, we’re in the business of making women (and men!) look and feel beautiful. We don’t want to publish any unflattering images anymore than you want us to. Trust us!
Will you travel to _________?
We’re available to travel just about anywhere! Travel is free within Baltimore City & County. There will be a slight travel fee for travel outside this area. Please contact us for a direct travel quote.
What are your prices?
Our prices for event photography begin at $100 per hour, with a 2 hour minimum required. We like to customize our boudoir sessions to meet each client’s needs. They start in the neighborhood of $250 for a 2 hour session. We consider having a gorgeous photo of yourself to be an investment. (and we take layaway!)
Which photographer will shoot my event/boudoir session?
We take turns accepting event and boudoir bookings. If there is a particular photographer you’d like to work with, please indicate that in your message when contacting us.
